The Museu do Papel Moeda presents a remarkable collection of banknotes, the most complete collection of banknotes in Portugal and an important collection of sealed paper, stock, lotteries, checks and letters. Through the fiduciary role, the Museum narrates the historical and economic evolution of Portugal. "Money and transport" is a new permanent exhibition area of ​​the Coin Museum. The exhibition integrates three nuclei: maritime, air and land transport. It is possible to see the reconstruction of the trip of Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, among other materials that were produced in order to please different age groups and people with special needs.
