Museum installed in a patrimonial set consisting of a property and large historical gardens dating from the XVIII century. As a programmatic component it illustrates a manor house of the Baroque period, integrating collections of decorative arts of Portuguese furniture and ceramics from the 17th and 18th centuries. The garden is one of the most expressive testimonies of the Baroque garden, with notable Rococó-style introductions, which survived in Portugal.
