Tower classified as a national monument and has within it an exhibition with the aim of raising awareness of the architectural and archaeological heritage and historical development of the municipality of Melgaço, from Prehistory to Contemporary Age. Part of the monumental complex of Leiria Castle, a National Monument ( 1910 ). The collections of the Museum contains medieval warfare replicas (Floors 0 , 1 and 2) and also archaeological objects found in archaeological excavations at this site in 1996 ( floor -1 ).
