"Palácio do Raio", is one of the most remarkable buildings of civil architecture of the city, in baroque style joanino. On the façade stands out the exuberance of the decoration, right from the richly crafted central door and also the 11 windows divided by two floors. The ornaments are asymmetrical, giving the building a dynamic and dramatic that are common in the work of the architect André Soares.
