The exposed haystacks (Paheiros) are located in the "Cais de S. Roque", for a long time as the center of the salt trade in Aveiro. Of rectangular plan and gable on the street, the haystacks of the Pier of S. Roque have roofs of two waters. The plank, painted with vermilion, is arranged horizontally.
