Its construction began in the second half of the twelfth century, after the capture of the city from the Moors by D. Afonso Henriques, and presents itself today as a mixture of architectural styles, a result of the amount of times it was restored. It is classified as a national monument since 1910. You can visit the Gothic cloister and treasure, with a varied collection of silver objects, ecclesiastical vestments, pictures, manuscripts and relics related to St. Vincent. Outside stands the facade with portal and porch with four primitive Romanesque archivolts.
