The Romantic Museum of Quinta da Macieirinha recreates the atmosphere of a wealthy house from the port of the nineteenth century. King Carlos Alberto of Sardinia was exiled in this house where he spent the last years of his life. In remembrance of the king, some dependencies of his house were set up, such as the chapel, the bedroom and the living room, from the watercolors and lithographs of the time.
